Most Dutch Universities of Applied Sciences offer the opportunity to obtain a Masters degree. Many of these Master degree programs are offered in cooperation with a Research University. The study programs usually run between 12 to 18 months.
Many of these are a continuation of the Bachelor studies, available at the University of Applied Science in question. Having obtained your Bachelor degree in a relevant field, you can always continue a Master study at the same university. In case you have not obtained your Bachelor at the University of Applied Sciences at which you want to do your Master, admittance is examined on a case to case basis.
If you intent to do a Master abroad (outside Holland), after having obtained your Bachelor at a Dutch University of Applied Sciences, you can normally do so straight away. In case you want to continue with a Master at a Dutch Research University, you may be requested to first do a Pre-Master, before being admitted.
